Architecture Instruction Comes to Arizona

Jim Elmore begins teaching the architectural drafting course offered in the Engineering Division of Arizona State's College of Applied Arts and Sciences — the first architectural education offered at any Arizona university and only the fourth one in the southwest. He replaces the previous instructor, Melverne Ensign, who leaves for private practice. 
Elmore organizes a two-year technical program in architectural drafting as the first step in establishing an accredited program in architecture.
