Emily Talen

Emily Talen was a professor in the School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning and the School of Sustainability from 2007 to 2016. She was also the Senior Sustainability Scientist in ASU's Global Institute of Sustainability and Innovation from 2010 to 2016 and the director of The Phoenix Urban Research Laboratory (PURL) from 2010 to 2012. Emily was a Guggenheim Fellow in 2014. She is currently director of the Urbanism Lab at the University of Chicago.
