James Scalise

Jim  Scalise was a member of the 1966 design studio that first conceived of the Rio Salado Project. After teaching at the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Kansas, Jim returned to teach at ASU and was acting chair of the architecture department for the 1979–80 school year. He later taught at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture at Taliesin, where he was named an associate dean. He continues to practice in the Phoenix area.
