Community Service in a Desert Environment
The Joint Urban Design Program is established through agreements with the cities of Phoenix and Scottsdale, formalizing the advisory role the architecture program has long played on urban design and planning projects. Roger Schluntz is named director, followed in 1993 by Michael Fifield and in 1996 by John McIntosh.
