Kevin Hinders

Kevin Hinders was an assistant professor at ASU. With landscape architecture professor Ted Cook, he directed a team of graduate students in 1987-88 to work with the Tempe Rio Salado Commission to produce a new conceptual plan for the entire project and a specific proposal for what eventually became Tempe Town Lake. He is currently an associate professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he leads seminars about design on the urban scale. He also maintains a private practice in planning, architecture, structural engineering and education services.
