Mary Kihl

Mary Kihl was one of the most influential transportation planners in the nation. At ASU she was director of the Herberger Center for Design Excellence, associate dean for research and creative activity, and coordinator of the interdisciplinary transportation systems graduate certificate. She came to ASU from Iowa State University and previously University of Nebraska and University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. After her death in 2007, the Mary R. Kihl Leadership Fund Endowment was established in her memory.
