Milton Lowenstein

Milton Lowenstein's multiple interests flourished at Arizona State. His primary research focused on creating housing on tribal lands. He also researched the development of future communities in frozen and arid areas for the U.S. Department of State and, as an architectural historian, directed the Association for Applied Solar Energy's library when it moved to ASU in 1960. He also was engaged in architectural pedagogy. After leaving Arizona, he taught at the State University of New York, Delhi.
