Nan Ellin

As an Associate Professor, Nan Ellin directed the PhD in Environmental Design and Planning Program and then created a new Urban and Metropolitan Studies Program in the School of Public Affairs. Very embedded in the Phoenix community, she was prominently involved in Canalscape, a successful initiative to create infill along the Phoenix canal network. In 2006, she joined The University of Utah, then was founding dean of architecture and planning at University of Texas, Arlington and is currently dean of architecture and planning at University of Colorado, Denver.
