Bob Oliver was a beloved freehand drawing professor as well as a celebrated artist. Many students credit him with the most formative instruction of their education: the power to see and sketch. His books "The Sketch," "The Complete Sketch" and "The Sketch in Color" continue to be treasured and referenced today. He was a member of the invitation-only prestigious National Watercolor Society.
