Ronald McCoy

Ron McCoy came to ASU as director of the School of Architecture. Under his leadership, the school was recognized as one of the nation’s top 10 public architecture schools. He played a leading role in ASU sustainability initiatives and created the MS Arch degree with a concentration in energy performance and climate-responsive architecture. He served as interim dean in 2002-03 and in 2003 became ASU's first university architect. In 2008 he joined Princeton University as university architect. Previously he taught at Drexel and Temple universities and at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc).
