R/UDAT Guides Gilbert Growth

The AIA Rio Salado Chapter, with funding from the national AIA, organizes a Regional/Urban Design Assistance Team (R/UDAT) workshop for Gilbert to analyze the town's tremendous growth pressure and identify opportunities for urban form and identity. Professor Michael Fifield leads the workshop and a number of ASU faculty, alumni and students participate. This introduces the community to the use of planning charrettes as a way to envision future urban design possibilities.
