Solar Test Roof

Continuing thermal research started in John Yellott's Solar Yard, Professor David Tait conducts experiments on ASU's Solar Lab on the rooftop of the Design North building. In 2005, his analysis of thermal performance of different kinds of green roofs in the hot and dry climate of Tempe informs design decisions for the Tempe Transportation Center building's green roof.
