Suzanne Underwood

Architect and assistant professor, Suzanne Kolarik Underwood coordinated and taught the foundational design curriculum with Tim McGinty, and is remembered as a role model, mentor and advocate for all women seeking a career in design. In 1987, she died in the crash of Northwest Flight 255 while returning from a national conference along with her colleague Jane Tanfield.
