Thomas Morton taught the history of architecture sequence as well as advanced seminars in architectural history while at ASU. During his time at ASU, he was selected by NCARB as a national winner for the New Faculty Teaching Award, and as Educator of the Year by the American Institute of Architects - Arizona Chapter. He is now a senior lecturer at the University of Pittsburgh focusing on Roman architecture and urbanism.
