John Yellott dies on December 26, leaving several research projects in Architecture's Solar Yard to be completed by other faculty and graduate students including HoFu Wu, Rami El Diasty and others. In recognition of his leadership, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Solar Division establishes a biannual John I. Yellott Award in recognition of his international leadership.
